The Sequencing and Synthesis Facility can sequence single stranded DNA, double stranded DNA, or PCR products on our automated DNA sequencers. Data is provided as a color printout, as a text file in GCG format and as a raw data file for downloading, and the turnaround time is three to five working days. Our facility can meet your sequencing needs from single sequencing runs up to small genomic projects.
We currently offer in house DNA sequencing but outsource all other services. For protein sequencing, call for our latest recommmendation. For peptide synthesis we outsource to Sigma/Genosys.
DNA synthesis is available through five vendors: Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), MWG Biotech, Qiagen/Operon, Invitrogen, and Sigma Genosys. Oligos can be ordered directly by us from each of these companies without a purchase order. The full line of services is available from each of these companies.
